Iciar has been tutoring me and my two children for the last two years and I am so very grateful to have found her (thank you, God!)! My daughter, Rosie, sat her Spanish GCSE two years early, in Y9, and achieved a Grade 9, with an amazing 235/240 marks! This is an absolute testament to the exceptionally high quality of Iciar’s teaching skills. She is incredibly patient and encouraging, whilst at the same time stretching every one of her students to help them reach their potential. The lessons are always fun and interesting, incorporating each of our interests. She breaks the grammar down into ways that are easy to understand and remember. She also has an incredible knowledge of exam technique with tips and tricks to help students get the top grades. Iciar always goes above and beyond. For example, in preparation for her oral, Rosie messaged her several times each day asking for advice, to which she always responded immediately!

Rosie hadn’t intended to take Spanish further than GCSE but, thanks to Iciar, it is now her favourite subject, and she has started on the A Level course! My son, Harry, will take his GCSE next summer, three years early, in Y8, again thanks to Iciar.

My own weekly lessons with her are such fun! It is a real pleasure to be able to chatter away in Spanish to someone who I consider a really good friend. Furthermore, she always finds me fascinating topics to study about Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. My language skills have improved no end!

On top of all this, I’m really grateful that she is so flexible with our schedule, adapting times if needed. Highly highly recommended!
