Cons: Not to be used on its own from completely beginner level. A great combo would be to add the following starter workbook that follows. Does not include the answers but they can be found on internet.

Pros: it is very affordable workbook to help you learn the present tense, basic vocabulary and useful expressions. We gathered the best materials our students liked and organised them in exercises, handy summaries and flashcards you can cut off from the book. Includes reflexive verbs, ser and estar and tener section, gustar verbs, etc.
Cons: Only includes the present tense.
Extras: Basic conversation useful expressions flashcards included.
Intermediate students: nice Spanish grammar books with exercises but also a lot more
When? GCSE Students and adults advanced beginners.
Pros: it is very affordable workbook to help you learn grammar, includes grammar topics from beginners to intermediate. We specially like the reading and listening exercises on GCSE, intermediate Spanish topics. There is a scale next to each exercise telling you how difficult it is. It includes the answers. It even includes GCSE past paper exercises. Books including listening audios are normally extremely more expensive.
Cons: Less grammar contact if that is what you are looking for.
